How queer we must look to aliens.
A cosmic laughingstock of monkeys throwing
Insults, punches, bullets and nuclear weapons,
A species where everyone is guilty
And roam dim-wittingly free.
How ridiculous we must look to dogs.
Transfixed upon diamonds, gold, oil,
And, of course, our ridiculous worship of paper, of money,
All the while, the dog just wants a solid bone to chew on.
How pathetic we must look to the Earth.
We pollute, pillage, raze, waste and consume
And the Earth chuckles.
We will all be dead before we know it,
And the Earth will gleefully be sunbathing.
How pitiful we must look to God.
We routinely work, eat, sleep, piss, shit - fuck everything up.
God gave us free will
And we became robots.
Malfunctioning ones.
